Khajuraho- Capital of Chandela Dynasty between 9th to 13th Century. ToDay Khajuraho is known for its amazing temples built in Nagara style of architecture with erotic sculpture, on outside wall of temples. Visit eastern and western group of temples. These temples are noted for therefore their exquisite carvings coverings entire wall with sculptures depicting human and divine beings indulging in every aspect of life. The main temples are Kandariya mahadeo, Chitragupta, parsvanath and the Ghantai.

 

Khajuraho / Jhansi via Orcha. S/ Express for Agra

Transfer to Jhansi Railway Station to connect Shatabdi express for Agra enroute visiting Orcha - Once capital of Bundela Dynasty is famous for Palaces and Temples; it has three main palaces namely Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal and Sunder Mahal. Ram Raja temple is the only temple where Rama (Incarnation of Lord Vishnu) is worshiped like a king. Later proceed to Station to board Shatabdi express for Agra. Met and transferred to hotel.

 

DAY 3

0800 Hrs

Tour Starts with Sightseeing of TAJ MAHAL the magnificent monument to the memory of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. After Taj Mahal proceed to 16th century Agra Fort, an impressive cluster of palaces, Fortress and Mosques on the bank of Yamuna River across Taj Mahal. Back to hotel for lunch.

 

1300 Hrs

After Lunch leave for Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri – An epic in red sand stone, a cultural and imperial capital of yesteryears conceived and built by Emperor Akbar. After sightseeing of Fatehpur Sikri proceed to Jaipur.

 

DAY 4

0800 Hrs

Your tour starts with the Sightseeing of high mountain fortress of Amber. You ride unto the ramp of this 11th century Bastion like royalty atop a gaily-decorated elephant. Once a royal capital, the fort is superb example of Rajput Architecture a complex of palaces, temples and an exquisite marble and mirror inlaid halls.

 

1400 Hrs

After lunch city tour of Jaipur visiting Maharajas City palace which now houses a museum containing rare manuscripts, fine specimen of Rajput and Mughal paintings and Weapons. After City palace visit to Ancient Observatory and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Overnight at hotel.

DAY 5

After breakfast leave for Pushkar. Pushkar is famous for a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Brahma “The Creator” It is the one and only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the world. Here, every year, on the full moon of November, thousands of pilgrims gather to bath in the sacred lake. This occasion is also well known for one of the largest cattle fairs in Rajasthan- a riot of color, tradition, dance and costumes unparalleled anywhere in India.

After Break-fast leave for Udaipur via Ajmer / Udaipur
