EDUCATIONAL CAMPING FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS( April & May )

3 Nights 4 days camping with adventure sports activities like Trekking, River crossing, Rappelling, visit to Solang Nala and Rohtang pass.
PARTICIPATION FEE : Rs. 4000/- per student.

 

RECREATIONAL CAMPING WITH ADVENTURE SPORTS ACTIVITIES ( April to June and Sept. to Oct. )

5 night 6 days camping with adventure activities like Trekking, River crossing, Rappelling, Para Gliding, River Rafting ,visit to Rohtang pass, Solang Nala and other places of tourist interest.
PARTICIPATION FEE : Rs. 7000/- per participant.

 

BASE CAMPING :

3 Nights 4 days camping providing one tent to one family with participation in camping activities like trekking and other activities with breakfast and dinner.
PARTICIPATION FEE : Rs. 8000/- per family ( 2 adults with one child ).

 

BASE CAMP : KASOL ( near MANIKARAN )

1. Trek to Kheer Ganga : 6 night camping including 3 nights stay at higher camp.
2. Trek to Malana : 6 days camping with 3 nights stay at higher camps and visiting Malana.

Detailed Itineraries:

 

ITINERARY :WINTER TREKKING : MANALI-SOLANG NALA –SAGARADUDGH- DHUNDI.

 

Day01 :

Report at camp Manali before lunch. After briefing allotment of rooms followed by freshening up etc. Afternoon transfer to Behang and trek to Jagani fall. Overnight in hotel.

 

Day 02 :

Trekking : Solang and Anjani Mahadev via Goshal & Burva. After breakfast trek to Solang via Goshal & Burva. Trek 10 Km. Reach in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel.

 

Day 03 :

Trekking : Solang to Sagara Dudgh and back. Constant gradual climbing and gaining height upto 10000 Ft. Full day trek with walking on snow. Trek : 14 Km. Overnight in hotel.

 

Day 04 :

Trekking : Solang to Dhundi and back to Solang :Trekking consists gradual climb and again walking on snow. Back to camp in the afternoon. Trek : 16 Km. Alt. 10500 Ft.

 

Day 05 :

Elementary training in Skiing. After lunch trek/transfer to Manali and programme concludes.

 

ITINERARY : TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR ORGANISORS /CO-ORDINATORS

 

& SR. CAMP OFFICERS.

 

Day01 :

Group to be received at Manali bus stand and transfer to hotel. Allotment of rooms, freshening up followed by light breakfast. Free time upto lunch. After lunch Session : Introduction and learning the basics of adventure sports covering Rock climbing, Rappelling and River crossing. participatory campfire after dinner.

 

Day 02 :

Morning exercise session. After breakfast practical training in Rock climbing and Rappelling. Back to hotel for lunch. After lunch session on Safety techniques, Do and Don’t in Himalaya. Practical training in River Crossing activity. Cultural Programme presented by local artists after dinner.

 

Day 03 :

Morning exercise session . Practical training in River Rafting. After lunch lecture on Flora and Fauna , Himalayan culture and questions and answers session, Adventure films show after dinner.

 

Day 04 :

Morning exercise session. Practical training in skiing and height gaining trekking .After lunch Valediction and award ceremony. Transfer to Manali Bus Stand. Programme concludes..

 

ITINERARY :Manali ( Behang )–Solang Nala-Lolara-Dhundi- Bakkar Thatch-Beas Kund trek.

 

April to June and Sept. to Oct. Strength of group : 30 participants.

 

Day01 :

Report at base camp Behang situated near Govt. Sr. Sec. School,( 5 Km from Manali on Leh highway )before lunch. After briefing allotment of tents followed by freshening up etc. Afternoon River crossing activity. Overnight camping.

 

Day 02 :

Acclimatization Trek to Jogani waterfall and Vashisht with pack lunch. On way back Rappelling activity. Back to camp in the afternoon. After evening tea briefing about the trek and issue of equipment etc.

 

Day 03 :

After breakfast transfer to Solang Nala and trek to Lolara . Camp situated on a beautiful meadow. Trekking with pack lunch. Afternoon enjoy team games. Overnight camping. Trekking : 10 km. Alt.2950 Mt.

 

Day 04 :

Trek to Dhundi : Trek passes through dense forest and crossing streams and consisting ups and downs. Trek : 10 Km. Alt. 10200 Ft.

 

Day 05 :

Trek to Beas kund and back to Dhundi Camp :Constant gradual climb and crossing river Beas and on loosely held boulders and snow . The legend is that Sage Vyas, the author of the great epic Mahabharata, meditated here. Beas Kund is also known as origin of river Beas. Back to camp. Trek : 10 Km. Alt. 11600 Ft.

 

Day 06 :

Trek to Solang Nala and transfer to base camp : Return trek to Solang Nala and group will be transferred to base camp by lunch time. Valediction and award ceremony.Programme concludes.

 

ITINERARY :Manali ( Behang )–Kothi-Rouli Khouli-Bhrighu lake Trek

 

HIGH ALTITUDE TREKKING ( May to June & Sept. Oct.)Group Strength : 30 participants.

 

Day01 :

Report at base camp Behang situated near Govt. Sr. Sec. School,( 5 Km from Manali on Leh highway ) before lunch. After briefing allotment of Tents followed by freshening up etc. Afternoon river crossing activity. Overnight camping.

 

Day 02 :

Acclimatization Trek to Jogani waterfall and Vashisht with pack lunch. On way back Rappelling activity. Back to camp in the afternoon, briefing about the trek and issue of equipment etc.

 

Day 03 :

After breakfast Trek to Solang Nala & Anjani Mahadev with pack lunch. Enjoy Para-Gliding and other adventure sports at Solang Nala. Return trek to base camp in the afternoon. Overnight camping. Trek : 12.KM.

 

Day 04 :

Trek to Rouli Khouli via Kothi : After breakfast transfer to Kothi and trek to Rouli Khouli camp. Gradual climb and trek passes through the forest of pine and oak etc. Trekking with pack lunch and reach the camp in the afternoon. Camp situated on a beautiful meadow full of wild flowers. Overnight camping. Trekking : 12 km. Alt. 3050 Mt.

 

Day 05 :

Trek to Bhrighu lake : Trekking consists of walking on the snow of about 6-7 hrs and climbing to Bhrighu Lake ( Alt. 14000 Ft.) and descend to Camp. Trekking with pack lunch. Panoramic view of the peaks of Pirpanjal and CB ranges. Constant gradual climb. Reach the camp in the afternoon. Trek : 12 Km.

 

Day 06 :

Trek to 14 curve : Trekking up to 14 curve is about 2 hrs. Group will be picked up by vehicle for return journey to base camp before lunch. Valediction and award ceremony. Programme concludes after lunch.

 

HIGH ALTITUDE TREKKING Last Week of May to June. Group: 20-25 participants.

 

ITINERARY : Manali ( Behang )-Jagatsukh- Chikka- Tenta – Chandertal trek.

 

Day01 :

Report at base camp Behang situated near Govt. Sr. Sec. School,( 5 Km from Manali on Leh highway ) before lunch. After briefing allotment of Tents followed by freshening up etc. Afternoon river crossing activity. Overnight camping.

 

Day 02 :

Acclimatization Trek to Jogani waterfall and Vashisht with pack lunch. On way back Rappelling activity. Back to camp in the afternoon, briefing about the trek and issue of equipment etc. Trek 8 Km.

 

Day 03 :

Trek to Chikka via Jagat Sukh and Bannara : After breakfast transfer to Jagatsukh and trek to Chikka camp. Trek consists of gradual climb passing through forest and beautiful meadows . Camp situated at the bank of Dongan Nallaha. Trek 14 Km. Alt. 3200 Mt.

 

Day 04 :

Trek Chikka to Tenta via Seri : The initial part of the trek is all flat and easy walking till you come to a stream. After crossing the stream the trails is uphill through boulders till you come to the camp which is on a moraine. Trek 10 Km.Alt. 4180 Mt.

 

Day 05 :

Trek Tenta to Chandertal and back : The path is all through moraine with some uphill stretches. The closed valley doesn’t offer views of the valley but Deo Tibba stays with you all along. Chandertal is a beautiful small mountain lake. Trek 10 Km. Alt. 4200 Mt.

 

Day 06 :

Trek Tenta to A.D. dam site and group will be picked up and transferred to base camp. Valediction and award ceremony at campfire. Trek 14 Km.

 

Day 07 :

Programme concludes after breakfast.

 

HIGH ALTITUDE TREKKING :Last Week of May to June. Group: 20-25 participants.

 

ITINERARY : Manali (Behang)–Pirini-Jobra- Chikka-Balu Ka Ghera –Hamta pass Trek

 

Day01 :

Report at base camp Behang situated near Govt. Sr. Sec. School,( 5 Km from Manali on Leh highway ) . After short briefing allotment of Tents followed by freshening up etc. Afternoon acclimatization walk towards Jogani waterfall . Briefing about the trek and issue of equipment. Overnight camping.

 

Day 02 :

After breakfast transfer to Jobra via Pirini. Trek to Chikka : The trek passes through forest of Oak, Pine ,Maple and Walnut etc. Trekking with pack lunch. Trek : 8 Km. Alt. Chikka 10100 Ft.

 

Day 03 :

Trek to Balu Ka Ghera : Constant gradual climb and walking on the left side of the river and cross the Rani Nallaha. On one side you have superb rock face and river flowing and right in front of you valley full of snow . Trekking with pack lunch. Trek : 10 Km. Alt. 11900 Ft.

 

Day 04 :

Trek to Hamta pass and back to camp: The trek is moderate steep. From the pass you can see wonders of mountain like comic formation, glaciers and view of Dev Tibba and Indrasan. Back to camp in the afternoon. Trekking with pack lunch. Trek : 8 Km. Alt. Hamta pass 14100 Ft.

 

Day 05 :

Trek Back to Chikka and Jobra. The group will be picked up from Jobra by vehicle and will be transferred to base camp. Trek about 16 Km. Full day trek. Valediction and award ceremony.

 

Day 06 :

Programme concludes after breakfast.

 

ITINERARY : Manali (Behang)–Pirini-Jobra- Chikka-Balu Ka Ghera –Hamta pass Trek

 

Day01 : Report at base camp Behang

situated near Govt. Sr. Sec. School,( 5 Km from Manali on Leh highway ) . After short briefing allotment of Tents followed by freshening up etc. Afternoon acclimatization walk towards Jogani waterfall .

 

Day 02 : Manali – Lama Dugh (3017m)

The climb is through thick forests but there is no water point after departing from Manali. As one gains height in this steep climb, the distinct views of different faces of Indrasan, Deo Tibba and peaks of Bara Shigri glacier open up. In the last lag, the path turns to the right and one traverses the ridge horizontally and enters the campsite on an alpine plateau studded with thick growth of alpine flowers.

 

Day 03 : Lama Dugh – Rani Sui (3900m)

The height gain on this day is approximately 1 km. The trek is through steep a ridge below Khanpari Tibba (4000m). From this point, one can have a magnificent glimpse of Manali, situated on the left bank of River Beas and the whole upper Kullu valley, which appears swathed in the different colors of the season. The lake at Rani Sui is a small mountain tarn with 360 degree views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges.

 

Day 04 : Rani Sui – Duddu Thach (3200m)

It’s a steady descent today through high altitude meadows and pine, maple, horse chestnut, walnut forests.

 

Day 05 : Duddu Thach – Khaniyal (2300m)

Another day of continuous descent through dense pine forests. A vehicle will pick up at Khaniyal and drop us to Manali

 

Itinerary : Kasol-Manikaran-Kheer Ganga trek.

 

Day01 :

Report at Kasol Camp before lunch. After briefing allotment of tents and freshening up. Afternoon River crossing activity. Overnight camping.Alt.2050 Mt.

 

Day 02 :

Morning exercises. Acclimatization trek around Kasol. Briefing about the trek and issue of equipment.

 

Day 03 :

Transfer to Bershaini. Trekking : Bershaini to Rudranag( Ice Nala ). Overnight camping. Trek : 8 Km. Alt. 8000 Ft.

 

Day 04 :

Trek to Kheer Ganga : Constant gradual climb through forest of Pine and Oak. Reach before lunch. Afternoon free to visit Hot water springs. Team games after evening tea. Overnight camping.Trek : 6 Km. Alt.

 

Day 05 :

Explore the area. Back to camp in the afternoon. Overnight camping.

 

Day 06 :

Trek back to Bershani. The groups will be picked up for transfer to base camp with 2hrs. break at Manikaran .Reach camp in the afternoon. Programme concludes after evening tea.

 

Itinerary : Kasol-Rasol- Ringan- Bakoda Thatch-Malana- Trek.

 

Day01 :

Report at Kasol Camp before lunch. After briefing allotment of tents and freshening up. Afternoon River crossing activity. Overnight camping.Alt.2050 Mt.

 

Day 02 :

Morning exercises. After breakfast acclimatization trek around Kasol. Briefing about the trek and issue of equipment.

 

Day 03 :

Trek : Kasol to Ringan over Rasol jot : Trekking consists of gradul climbing upto Rasol jot and a steep descent upto Wachin camping site. Trek : 12 Km. Alt.

 

Day 04 :

Trek to Bakoda Thatch and back to camp in the afternoon. Constant gradual climbing with gaining height upto 11500 ft. Trek 14 Km. Overnight camping.

 

Day 05 :

Trek to Malana: Trekking to Malana village consist of ups and downs. After visiting the village trek to Dam site-1. The group will be transferred to Kasol Camp. Overnight camping.

 

Day 06 :

Visit to Manikaran and back to camp in the afternoon. Programme concludes.

 

Educational Camping for School Students

 

(Mid March to June & September - November)

 

Duration:

4 days of camping with full-time engaging activities. In addition, participants will learn about their surroundings and environment awareness from our experienced instructors.

 

FEATURE :

Veg. food, accommodation in tents* with sleeping bags, campfires and other fun activities. Rucksacks and other necessary gear for trekking will be provided at the base camp.* Separate tented accommodation for female participants and teachers.

 

ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES *

Rock Climbing & Rappelling * River Crossing * Learning various knots & their use * Jungle survival skills.

 

ITINERARY: CAMP LOCATION: BEHANG (5 KM. NORTH OF MANALI)

 

Day01 :

Report at base camp Behang, 5 Km. from Manali on Manali-Leh road before noon. Orientation on camp life and Do’s & Don't in Himalaya, afternoon session River crossing activity : Talk & Demo + practical.

 

Day 02 :

Wake up at 6 a.m, warm up with morning exercise followed by cleaning of camp site. Before noon : Trek to Jogani fall & Vashisht.. Afternoon : Basics of Rock Climbing & Rappelling (Talk & demo + practical). Afternoon: Session on use of various knots. Evening: Team games, Evening tea, dinner.

 

Day 03 :

Morning exercises session. Trek to Anjani Mahadev with picnic pack lunch. After lunch time for optional Para-Gliding/other adventure games.(fees additional to be paid in advance at base camp ) and back to camp. Evening snacks, dinner and participatory cultural programme .

 

Day 04 :

Early morning breakfast. Leave for visiting Rohtang pass with pack lunch. Back to camp. Valedictory and award ceremony. Your feedback narration. Programme concludes .

 

BASE CAMPING : 3 nights 4 days . April to June & Sept. to November.

 

Tents:

One tent to one family with twin beds with mattress and blankets etc.

 

Food:

Standard camp food with necessary modifications.

 

Safety :

To be observed by the camper as per our instructions.

Guests are required to adhere to strict environmental guidelines and live upto our policy of “Save Environment “.

 

Activities :

In case you have an additional taste then Trekking, Rock climbing, Rappelling, River crossing ,visit to Rohtang pass( snow point ) & Solang Nala ( Para-gliding etc. ) Nature walks, Kite flying , Badminton and Burma bridge.

 

WE SUGGEST : BE ON YOUR OWN SELF :

 

The CAMPER will report at lunch time on DAY 1 and will checkout after evening tea on DAY 4 . One tent to one family .Child below 8yrs: 50% and will share the same tend without extra bed and above 8yrs as individual camper and will share tent with similar child or adult of the same gender. Food :Veg. Lunch, evening tea with snacks and dinner on reporting day and breakfast, evening tea with snacks and dinner on the remaining days. Luck warm water in the morning. Use of camping facilities and activities e.g. participate in morning exercises, rappelling , river crossing and short treks etc.

ITINERARY : Manali-Jogani fall-Solang Valley -Rohtang pass visit & River Rafting.

 

Day01 :

Departure for Manali in the afternoon. Overnight journey.

 

Day 02 :

Arrive Manali . Pickup from the bus stand and transfer to camp site. After short briefing allotment of tents and Lunch. After lunch river crossing activity. Overnight camping.

 

Day 03 :

Morning exercises. Acclimatisation trek to Jogani fall and Vashisht ( 6 KM) , back to camp by lunch time. Free time after lunch . Evening snacks followed by Himalayan quiz. Team games. Dinner & Campfire. Overnight camping.

 

Day 04 :

Yoga session in the morning, After breakfast trek to Anjani Mahadev and Solang nala ( 8.KM). Free time for Para-Gliding/ Cable car ride (one activity included in the package ) . Transfer to camp in the afternoon. Evening tea, dinner and campfire. Overnight camping.

 

Day 05 :

Morning exercises followed by breakfast. Departure for visiting the Rohtang pass and back to camp in the afternoon. Evening tea, Dinner and cultural programme . Overnight camping.

 

Day 06 :

Morning exercises session followed by breakfast and transfer to River rafting point alongwith luggage
( those not going for river rafting free time to relex ). After river rafting the group will board evening bus for Delhi . ( Those staying in the camp, after lunch they will be transferred to Manali for boarding bus ) . Overnight journey. Reach Delhi next day morning. Programme concludes. ( The groups can visit Manikaran if not willing to do River rafting and will be transfered to Bhunter for boarding bus for Delhi in the
Evening ( visit by cab : 9 persons in one vehicle )
